“Cravn Wind” is a 2000 Catalina 400 MKII of Morgan design that exemplifies what makes these boats such great and dependable cruisers. Comfort and elbow room are amply afforded above and below deck with plenty of entertainment space. The Catalina 400 is designed to incorporate the performance, accommodations and features every sailor would want, including in-boom furling and large aft stateroom. Cravn Wind also offers a host of upgrades and features at an awesome value.

The walk-through transom makes boarding at the dock or from the dinghy a safe and easy task. The side decks are spacious and easily traversed. Anchoring is simplified with a powerful electric windlass. The cockpit is very comfortable with settees long enough to sleep on, a spacious folding cockpit table for dining al fresco, stern rail seats and closed-cell cockpit cushions for comfortable seating and views while underway.

The well thought-out sail handling systems make sailing a breeze, with all lines led to the cockpit. With twin helms, furling headsail, and in-boom furling mainsail easily controlled by the electric winch, Cravn Wind can be maneuvered under sail or power hassle-free. Under the hood is a 56hp Yanmar with low hours to take you wherever you need to go. And with a new B&G system installed in 2017, including a huge 12″ chartplotter, Digital radar and wind instrumentation, navigation is made super easy, intuitive and reliable.

The bright and airy interior accommodations are some of the most comfortable in her class. Cravn Wind easily sleeps 7 with two cabins, a dinette that converts to a double berth and a single berth on the port side. The owner’s cabin is aft and is incredibly spacious with abundant storage, private access to head with stall shower and a centerline oversized queen bed with plush seating on both sides. The forward cabin (V-berth) also has a private head for guests. The built-in refrigerator and freezer, 3 burner stove with oven, microwave and ample countertops create a comfortable user-friendly galley.

Included with Cravn Wind is a 10-ft Achilles hard-bottom dinghy complete with 15hp Yamaha engine. Zip in and out of anchorages with ease, and stow her handily with the motor boom and dinghy davits at the stern to keep her clean and safe while underway.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Cravn Wind features tons of seating and berth space below deck. Her V-berth sleeps two comfortably with easy access to the forward head & shower.

The main salon is an inviting place to lounge with deep, comfortable seats of Ultraleather fabric and a large dining table. The sizeable dinette to starboard can comfortably seat your entire dinner party or be converted into a berth for two. The settee to port provides additional seating while entertaining, or an additional berth for one. For added enjoyment, the owners have installed a 32" TV in the main salon (2021). The navigation station with cushioned seat that swings out for use or tucks away when idle makes an incredibly functional space while minimizing footprint.

The spacious galley is located to starboard as you descend the companionway and features a propane 3 burner stove and oven. The ice box provides both top and front-load access for ultimate convenience. Shelving securely mounted from the cabin top adds very functional storage space which helps keep the already ample counterspace in the galley open while cooking or mixing your favorite dockside beverages. A stainless double sink is positioned close to centerline featuring pressurized hot and cold water as well as a hand pump spigot. A microwave is tucked aft to starboard of the companionway, under luxurious cabinetry featuring etched glass and plenty of glassware storage.

Cravn Wind's cavernous aft owner's cabin features a queen berth that sleeps two, flanked to port and starboard by plush seating and ample storage everywhere you turn.  The current owner has already done you the favor of mounting a TV for entertainment when reclining on the centerline queen bed.  The aft cabin has private access to a head with stall shower.
