1989 Grand Banks 42 Classic

North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

$179,900

A very well maintained 42 Grand Banks with the optional Caterpillar 3208 Turbo engines that give you the option of a hull speed cruise of 10 knots at a very economical 2.2 mpg or a top speed of 21 knots when you need to get somewhere in a hurry.

An iconic boat that is known world wide, the 42 Grand Banks was one of the most successful boats ever built with over 1500 leaving the factory. Though not a traditional hull shape; the long keel, hard chines, and deep forefoot give the 42 better performance with little effect on efficiency, ride, and seaworthiness.

Knotty Dream has been constantly maintained. New fuel tanks were installed in 2015 holding 300 gallons per side, newer salon AC units keep it cool all summer, there is a 60gph water maker on board, the flybridge has the added comfort of a fiberglass hard top with full isinglass in great shape, teak hand rails were just refinished, there is dinghy davit aft of the bridge, there is an 8kW Westerbeke generator with only 1000 hrs, and she is wired for a battery bank and inverter setup.

Dinghy is available but not included.
