An opening window placed within the Bimini provides for clear mast viewing.
The center of the cockpit supports the stainless steel Steering Wheel/Binnacle. A custom flip-up monogrammed table supports your favorite libation.
A New B&G Vulcan 9 SIMRAD GPS display awaits your installation/completion.
A Hummingbird depth sounder and New ICOM VHF in the cockpit.
Running rigging control lines lead back to the cockpit and equate to safer sailing.
Main sheet, Vang, Boom brake and Traveller. Included are all new Lewmar Stops, Cleats, Blocks, Fairleads and 2 new Lewmar 6” self tailing winches for the Jenny. (110%) 2 One Touch winch handles make for easy sail control.

ENTER THE COMPANIONWAY
A folding tinted ¼”Acrylic companionway door makes an easy open/closing between the cockpit and the below decks.
Upon descending into the salon, step onto a custom solid Cherry wood spiral and retractable stairway with treads adorned with a double layer of Seadek for added resilience, safety and comfort.
The starboard side reveals a new in 2019 electrical Navigational Station - Marks Marine rewired all the electrical on board.
More recently PV solar panels totaling 300 peak watts charge via a dual-bank charge controller were added. Solar by Sunsolar of Coronado.
(4) 24V Lithium Ion zero maintenance batteries power the (2) Newport Electric Motors, and one 12V house battery for lights and bilge pump…all working.
Power to the motors runs through a pair of PWM’s or Phase Width Modulators, one for each motor, which control the speed, forward and reverse, effectively providing a greatly increased range.
FLEX DESIGN SALON:
Ripple’s Salon is graced with exceptional space. Height and beam provide a rare level of comfort found at this size yacht.
Newer interior ‘Family Friendly’ fabric encases 3” & 4” luxury foam cushions throughout the salon. (Robinettes Upholstery)
The dinette table is easily removed and stowed under the area converting it to a full size bed.
Simply reconfigure the cushions to your liking to create a perfect sleeping platform. (although there are endless places to relax, without this conversion)
Six new ports grace the salon providing light and vision. Coverings are rigid and translucent and easily lifted and stowed. Total privacy is a moment away.
The gathering space accommodates as many as 6-8 people.
There is ample stowage behind the plush cushions.
6 Original 12V inc salon lighting provide ambiance and an authentic ships’ bell set the scene for magic to happen.
Additional sleeping accommodation has been created by the thoughtful addition of a swing up bedding platform extending the starboard sofa into an opulent sleeping experience.
One openable port over the hanging locker provides cross ventilation.
All wood has been refurbished/refinished.
Electric outlets in the salon are all operational.

On Father's Day 2018, we met and fell in love with this vintage ‘81 Catalina 30. When we came aboard, the steps opened into a generous salon easily accommodating my 6’ husband and we were sold. The salon was more than comfortable, and we immediately saw the potential of our collective abilities and how she could become our new project and favorite second home.
